Maintaining and improving geophysical and trajectories models and predictions in the Prestige spill affected areas.

Work Plan:

The main goal of this project is to maintain and to improve the existing oceanographic-meteorological operational system, based on existing national and international operational observation and numerical prediction systems to provide oceanographic and atmospheric forecasts and oil spill trajectories. This information is relevant for decision makers in the areas affected by the Prestige oil spill.
